A native of Tipton, Indiana, Bransen graduated in 2016 from Vincennes University with an associate's degree in political science. He then graduated from Indiana University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in public management in 2018
Bransen graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2022. He was a two-year member of UToledo’s Ohio Attorney General’s Mock Trial Team. He also took part in Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, Taft Senate Chapter as Master of Rolls, and was an Articles Editor for Adelphia Law Journal. Bransen became a licensed Ohio attorney in 2022. Before joining Smith & Smith, he worked at a private law firm in Dayton, Ohio, where he specialized in Domestic Relations and Juvenile Law.
